What do James and Alicia do best? Have fun and play while also continually working away at living our healthiest, best and most purposeful lives. We want to have a great time, laugh a lot, be strange, and remind others to do the same while also taking care of and support our bodies, the Earth and our fellow humans. Everyone is here to be of service in a unique and varied way. That is the beauty of the diverse Earth we live on. We hope our experiences may offer you a glimpse into your own individual purpose and / or help propel you even deeper into what you already know to be your own gifts.
Our journeys over the years have not been easy. We both come from drastically different backgrounds, health issues, care taking, loss, trauma, adventure, fun, and all the things in between. Truly between the two of us we’ve lived lifetimes upon lifetimes, but what we have come to know as truth is one of playfulness AND mindfulness. We believe you can have and need both and, in turn, that awakening to this will remind others they can also have both, and this will light up the world and create ripples yet unknown.
James and Alicia have both been enjoying quarter life retirement for some time, and as fun as it is, it is time for us to share our gifts, expertise, and wisdom with the world in a more expansive way. As we considered what we wanted to do next, it became clear that one of the things we love most is hosting and providing experiences for others in a meaningful way. We love providing our friends immersive experiences in our home or at a show or in our RV, where every need is thought of and we eat delicious, healthy food and just have a damn good time.
And whether we are at home in Montana or out on the road at Phish or traveling the world, we know how to provide a life changing experience for others and ourselves. SS Experiences are born out of the desire to share this with more than just our closest friends. We want to share this others that we feel will be profoundly moved by these experiences.
This is us inviting you into our grander than life daily experiences to show that MORE is possible and invite you to ask the same questions of yourself in your daily life. Because truly, we live in a magical world, even outside of majestic Montana. There is magic and miracles around every corner, and we are here to remind you of that and serve as guides to reawaken that childlike wonder that use to come so easily for most of us and is our birthright. The combination of living fully in our own magical spheres of life, and asking how can we be of service to humanity, will profoundly change the world quicker than we can even imagine.
SS Experiences are a mixture of travel agent meets immersive guide meets retreat meets damn good time. We are excited to start offering these experiences to YOU. Each trip will be personalized based on your preferences, group size, and budget, promising a one-of-a-kind journey.

Our Slice of Paradise Experiences

Paradise Valley, Montana is aptly named and earns its name each time you look out from our backyard, literally. From the Big Sky to floating the Yellowstone River to soaking in our 7-person hot tub under a sea of stars, we truly have a slice of Paradise outside the guest bedroom. The magic of our home in Emigrant, Montana is one of expansive beauty and wild untamed nature. This is a unique offering to join us as guests in our home with our co-host cats, Caza and Nuit. Caza and Nuit are our amazing cats aka familiars. They are little healers and they adapt their personalities with each guest that comes to our home, and they love guests! They also love long walks on our 20-acre property with you and watching the sunset, no joke.
And one of the most interesting and mind blowing parts of our property is the 4,000 sq ft underground Cold War bunker that has been almost untouched. It is like a mind blowingly large and extensive time capsule of 1980’s Cold War American culture.
This experience will be completely customized depending on your desired Montana experience. We will offer daily hikes, paddle boarding, kayaking or rafting the Yellowstone, live music at one of the many venues within 20 minutes of us, but especially Pine Creek and Old Saloon, fly fishing with local guides, day trips to Yellowstone National Park, and the list keeps going on.
We have space for up to 5 guest in our home, with most meals provided and cooked by Alicia and James. We will also provide daily shakes with every color of the rainbow and functional mushrooms, local coffee or Everyday Dose mushroom coffee depending on your desires, patches (if desired), and more! Plus, if you would like, guided yoga and stretching classes and general healthy living experience while also having a good time. We like to have fun AND stay healthy.

Phish Experiences

The most famous band you’ve never heard of, or barely heard of. Phish is Alicia’s happy place, and it’s something we are excited to share with those who feel drawn to the experience. Phish is not for everyone, but for those who connect to the music, it is home. The band has been playing together for over 40-years and it’s always a BIG experience. In our opinion, they are the most talented improvisational band around, and although the Phish scene and the experience is filled with never ending joy, splendor and silliness, it can be overwhelming to know how to break into such a new experience with thousands of people. There are many intricacies both with background on the band and from every detail of actually showing up to a Phish show that are helpful to know along the way. We got you covered, and we love putting the Phish pieces together.
Phish can be life changing. It can open doors in your mind and body that you never knew were there or even possible to experience, but it’s also key that you experience Phish in a mindful way and feel supported if it’s your first time. We want to be guides in that experience, so that you are able to understand, integrate, and fully expierence and appreciate the incredibly expansive music of Phish.
Given Alicia's slight obsession with all things Phish and James has been seeing live music his whole life, we are the perfect combination of energies to experience. Phish We know how to handle all the details from buying tickets, booking rooms and transportation, arranging flights and guiding people through the whole experience to make sure you have incredible show(s) and a fun journey in a cool place.

Eleuthera Island Experiences
"Eleuthera: it's not for everyone." That is literally the island's motto, and it is for good reason. Eleuthera literally translates to free or freedom in Greek, and you can feel that when you are there but that can come with its own unknown challenges.
It's an absolutely stunning island with long, crystal clear, empty pink sand beaches, aquamarine cliff-sides, beachside conch shacks and welcoming, Bahamian laid back island vibes, but it can be a challenging place to visit for the first time, especially if you do not know the island or the intricacies of traveling there. In particular, food and driving.
Alicia has lived on the island multiple times since 2013 and we have been going together for four years now. We have many long-time friends that live there and will likely join us on one of our many adventures, and, most importantly, we know how the island works so that you have an amazing experience. We would love to host an experience for you on one of the loves of our life, Eleuthera.

Customized Travel Experiences
Between the two of us, we have truly traveled the whole world and we love it. We know that travel can be overwhelming, but we love every aspect of it from researching to booking to doing the damn thing. If there is a place you’ve wanted to travel to in the US or abroad that feels just out of reach or too much to take on, then let us plan it for you and we can join to handle all the details along the way or simply do the research, booking and planning.

We can take you on an immersive experience around Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon, or even Southern Canada. We have a cozy RV named Birdie that we love hosting up to 4 people in or possibly more with tent camping. This is the most intimate of our offerings. Reach out for more details and brainstorming.
